Care and Handling of our Products
All of our products are baked fresh to order - we do not use any preservatives. To maintain freshness we ship everything to arrive either overnight or 2 day delivery.
Our LUCKY LOBSTER SHORTBREAD has a shelf life of 3 weeks. It does NOT need to be refrigerated or frozen. If you wish, you can warm it up in the microwave for a few seconds, and it will taste fresh out of the oven!
Our MAYPOLE MUSSEL WHOOPIE CAKES are shipped cold and may be served at room temperature or refrigerated. They can be left covered at room temperature for up to 5 days, and it refrigerates and freezes beautifully.
Our CRAZY CLAM ISLAND BUTTERMILK CAKE can be served at room temperature, refrigerated, or warmed up in the microwave for a few seconds if you prefer. It can be left covered at room temperature for 3 days, and it refrigerates and freezes beautifully.
Package Delivery
Our Whoopie Pies are carefully packaged in a corrugated outer box, then in Styrofoam with a gel pack to maintain correct temperature. In the summer, or if you live in a warm climate, your order should not be left outside in the heat or sun.
Federal Express Shipping
All shipping charges are based on weight and delivery location using Federal Express next day or 2nd day service. Saturday deliveries are available for an extra charge. Please call 207.829.5200 or Email us at info@cranberryislandkitchen.com if you require Saturday delivery.
Personalized Gift Items
We are happy to personalize any of our sweet treats for your celebration! Individual items come wrapped and includes a hand written gift card. Use the space provided on our Online Shopping page to send your personalized note.
