All of our products are baked fresh to order - we do not use any preservatives. Our Gourmet Whoopie Pies are carefully packaged in a corrugated outer box, then in styrofoam with a gel pack to maintain correct temperature. In the summer, or if you live in a warm climate, your order should not be left outside in the heat or sun.
All orders are shipped signature release allowing FedEx to leave the package without the recipients signature. Partially-thawed products are still usable/edible and can be refrozen.
Because our products are all natural and perishable, they need to arrive at their destination within 48 hours. We cannot allow any orders to be held in a warehouse over the weekend. Perishable items cannot be delivered on Sunday or Monday, nor on holidays recognized by FedEx (New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas). We deliver to all 50 states, but are unable to deliver to P.O. boxes, FPOs or APOs.
PLEASE NOTE: During the steamy Summer months, we reserve the right to switch orders from 2 Day Shipping to Overnight Shipping if we think this is necessary for your order to arrive in good condition. This does cost more, so we will contact you by phone or e-mail beforehand to request your permission to do this.
We live and work on the coast of Maine. Winter months are very exciting here and we will have an occasional "snow day" where FedEx, despite its best efforts, cannot promise that our packages will be delivered on time. On those occasions, we will reschedule shipments as weather allows and will do our best to notify all affected.
Call early to place a Christmas week order, since this and other major holidays, as well as weather conditions, may change delivery availability. We ask for the recipients phone number for FedEx, so if they have trouble finding the address they can call.
Orders are generally shipped within two business days of when the order is received, unless a later delivery date is requested. While placing your order, you will be asked when you would like your order to arrive. We will make every effort to ship your order so it will arrive on that date. If that is not possible, we will contact you with your revised shipping date.
- If your Ship To state is in the PINK ZONE it will get there the next day using Ground/Home Delivery. Home Delivery also includes Saturdays.
- If your Ship To state is in the BLUE ZONE it will get there in 2 days using Ground/Home Delivery. Home Delivery also includes Saturdays.
- If your Ship To state is in the ORANGE ZONE you MUST select 2DAY EXPRESS so it will get there in 2 days - this service does not include Saturdays. If you need your order there the next day, you must select Overnight shipping.

For deliveries to the Pink Zone ONLY, you may choose the Home Delivery option which will deliver overnight.
- Saturday Delivery Items arrive on a Saturday to most city
and suburban areas. This service is not available in all areas. Prior
to placing your order, you may want to confirm that FedEx will provide
this service to your area by calling FedEx directly at 800-463-3339.
- Ground/Home Delivery and 2Day Express Delivery time
can vary based on area, but can be as late as 8:00 p.m. to residences
and 5:00 p.m. to businesses.
- Standard Overnight Delivery can vary based on area, but typically
delivered by 6:00 p. m. on the next business day.
- Priority Overnight Delivery can arrive by 10:30 a.m. to most
city and suburban areas, and 4:30 p.m. or earlier to remote areas
including Alaska and Hawaii.
